In his Wisconsin studio, Michael works with his sons and son in law to hand-etch inspirational messages into wall plaques, such as this ''Promise Me'' plaque. It reads: ''Promise me you'll always remember that you're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.'' Together, they hand-carve the message onto each ceramic plaque before firing at nearly 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. Each ''Promise Me'' inspirational ceramic wall plaque comes with cord for hanging, measures 5 inches by 7.25 inches. No two are exactly alike.
