Our artisans of Ecuador transform natural tagua nuts into these highly detailed figurines. One at a time, each nut is carved by hand into the holy family, three wise men and two animals. The raw shell serves as the figurine base or accessory, including Joseph's Staff and the infant's makeshift cradle. Sizes range up to 3'' tall.

Love it!

I love this Nativity because it is simple and gets the point across. So many nativities portray the birth of Christ as gilded in gold - it wasn’t like that. It was a poor man, who was betrothed to a poor young woman who with the Lord’s help, conceived a child that became our Savior. it’s all in the Bible.
