Upon the retirement of our beloved Murano glass artisan, Francesco, we embarked on a search for a new glass master capable of making such delicate wonders. After striking out in Murano, Italy, we headed to the Bohemian region of the Czech Republic, and found a talented family workshop. Using glass canes which they heat and stretch, they handcraft this delicate red glass rose. Each cane is lampworked over a flame in order to achieve the desired shape, petal by petal. Once each piece is shaped, it is carefully affixed to a wire stem. Each stem comes with an individual stand. Handcrafted exclusively for Uno Alla Volta, from the heart and hands of the artisan.
