Our artisans in a seaside village in Nova Scotia begin each whimsical piece as a sketch which is then sculpted in clay. The sculpture is used to make a mold from which each item is cast in lead-free pewter, before being finished and polished entirely by hand.
That’s what my daughter and I say to each other. Gave this pewter box with moon necklace inside for Christmas. Her whole face lit up. I knew she loved it. It was perfect.

To The Moon and My Sunshine
I would always say to my first little granddaughter when I put her to bed “ I love you to the moon and back.” The necklace really caught my eye.
So I chose “You Are My Sunshine” for the younger granddaughter. The necklaces are so appropriate for little girls.

16 Years of love to Grandson
Since my grandson was a baby , I’ve said “ love you to the moon and back. I was living in Florida with the first moon landing event. I love looking at the moon and now Grandson almost daily , asks me how it looks might before. This box will be on his dresser for years to come. At 80 years old I hope to have many more years looking at the moon.
