Our talented Polish pottery artisans, Arek & Ewa have created our exclusive holiday patterns. Wintry Woods features a smiling snowman complete with hat, broom, charcoal buttons and a carrot nose. His cardinal friends sit amongst the tree branches decorated with pinecones and berries as blue snowflakes fall. The navy blue border complements the patterns with detailed green branches, brown pinecones and red berries. Known as an Artistika pattern, only artisans with several years of experience, and the utmost design skills, create these impressive pieces. Every snowman, cardinal and snowflake on this tree is hand-painted and meticulously detailed into collectible works of art. Handcrafted exclusively for Uno Alla Volta, from the hearts and hands of artisans. The blue snowflakes in all motifs make it easy to mix and match with the other Polish pottery Christmas patterns. Meet The Artisan - Arek & Ewa

Ewa grew up in Boleslawiec, Poland – a city that is famous throughout the world for its stunning hand-painted pottery. For two years, she developed her painting and design skills as a painter in a local pottery shop; However, it wasn't long until she met her husband, Arek, and moved to the city of Brzeg. In 2004, they founded their own Polish Pottery company. Since then, their company has only continued to grow, and Ewa’s signature designs have gained them a worldwide following.

My new favorite Polish pottery piece!

Have eyed this piece since last year… maybe even before that. I have so many pierces of Polish pottery and have shared with my 7 children and 22 grands. But when I saw this piece I just had to get it. Lucky for me it went on sale after Christmas and I was able to add it to my collection. Just love it!
