In a small village just outside Milan, Italy, the De Carlini family has been creating heirloom glass ornaments since 1947. Founders Enrico and Elisa passed the business down to their daughter Rosa, who continues the family tradition with her husband, son, and daughter-in-law, hand-blowing each ornament from fiery glass and then adorning it with glittering blue and silver details. Handcrafted exclusively for Uno Alla Volta, from the heart and hands of the artisan. Dimensions - Approximately 6 inches long.

Meet The Artisan - De Carlini Family

Hoping to bring a bit of cheer to post-WWII Europe, Enrico and Elisa De Carlini began handcrafting heirloom glass Christmas ornaments in their small workshop just outside of Milan, Italy, in 1947. Their whimsical designs quickly gained popularity, and thus a family tradition was born. They eventually passed the business down to their daughter Rosa, who continues the tradition with her husband, son, and daughter-in-law as they hand-blow each ornament from fiery glass heated to over 1400F, and then individually decorate each with sparkling details and festive trims.

Absolutely beautiful! My mother purchased this ornament for my husband and I last year, and we're hanging it on our tree for the first time in 2021. It is reminiscent of the ornaments I had as a child and very much a reminder of that time. Truly stunning.
