In her Garment District loft, Elizabeth of NYC models the design for this whimsical kimono after an original watercolor painting. She then sends her design off to her master artisans in India, who transfer the dreamy floral design onto a canvas of chiffon, and adorn it with metallic gold details and stylish beads. One size fits most. Handcrafted exclusively for Uno Alla Volta, from the heart and hands of the artisan. Dimensions - 36 inches by 40 inches.

Meet The Artisan - Elizabeth

Trained as a painter and printmaker, Elizabeth designed her first scarf after being unable to find a replacement for a lost favorite. Today, eighteen years later, the sights and sounds of New York City inspire her colorful creations. After designing each scarf and kimono in her New York City loft, she collaborates with master artisans in Delhi, India, who create each one from high quality fabrics, one at a time.

Can't go wrong with any of these kimonos, soft and flowing. The colors are so pretty and the gold accents on this one are lovely. Have to be careful with the beads as they tend to catch & come loose, easily sewn back on.
