I have been admiring these cats for 2-3 years now.,,They did not disappoint! They look amazing in our great room!

A bit more rustic

Paint was missing in places that ruined the cats' "cuteness" such as the large cat's nose; also, the statues were chipped in several places. I fixed some small amount of it with a Sharpie, but not all.

Review of Cat Sculptures of Albesia Wood

I purchased the cat sculptures as a Christmas gift for my sister. I had them sent to my address so I could re-wrap them and also see what they looked like. I thought they were very attractive and my sister really liked them - she has a cat.
I was a bit surprised to find nothing else in the box except the invoice. I realize that your catalog says "carved from albesia wood by Nuarta". I think it would have been nicer if there was even a small card that said something like "Enjoy your one-of-a-kind pair of cat sculptures as each pair is carved and painted individually by Nyoman Nuarta of Indonesia. Mr. Nuarta also holds the distinction of having created the tallest statue in Indonesia". [From Wikipedia] This would certainly let the recipient know that the statues weren't just some cheap knock-off from China or elsewhere. Just my thoughts on improving the recipient's pleasure.
