Our artisans Arek & Ewa, a husband-and-wife team from Brzeg, Poland bring us a whimsical new Halloween pattern in a centuries-old folk-art tradition, using carved sponges to apply motifs then accent each detail with fine brushwork. This tealight holder features bats that fill a moonlit sky, flying over a haunted house and a spooky pumpkin patch, as a raven watches from a treetop. Leaves billow and the cobweb border is crawling with spiders. Handcrafted exclusively for Uno Alla Volta, from the hearts and hands of artisans. Battery operated tealight recommended. Approx. 5'' x 3.5'' dia.

Meet The Artisan - Arek & Ewa

Ewa grew up in Boleslawiec, Poland – a city that is famous throughout the world for its stunning hand-painted pottery. For two years, she developed her painting and design skills as a painter in a local pottery shop; However, it wasn't long until she met her husband, Arek, and moved to the city of Brzeg. In 2004, they founded their own Polish Pottery company. Since then, their company has only continued to grow, and Ewa’s signature designs have gained them a worldwide following.
